Justice At Last...

Finally curtains come down on the nine-year old long trial in the murder case pof journalist

Shivani Bhatnagar.
We can aptly say here that "Better Late Than Never".

Shivani Bhatnagar was a Principal Correspondent with he Indian Express.
Ravi Kant Sharma was a 1976 batch IPS officer.
Shivani was murdered at her apartment in East Delhi on 23rd January,1999.On the day the murder

was held two men posing as aquaintances came to meet her at her apartment.Shivani even offered

them tea, later she was found stabbed in her apartment.
Police Crime Branch cracked the case of this murder after more than three years when they made

the first arrest in July 2002.Arrest Warrants were issued against R.K.Sharma on 3rd August

2002,but he was at large. He surrendered to the police on 27th September 2002 in Ambala.
Since then the case was going on,during which out of the 209 witnesses 51 turned hostile that

included some key witnesses.
But finally after 9 years the court gave its verdict and R.K.sharma was found guilty.Along with

him three more accused Pradeep Sharma, Satya Prakash and Sri Bhagwan were found guilty. The

quantum of the sentence will be pronounced by Judge Rajendra Kumar Shastri on 24th March.
It will be either Life Sentence or Death Penalty.
The case even saw the name of big BJP leaders coming in it, when Madhu Sharma, wife of R.K.Sharma

accused the then Information Technology minister Pramod Mahajan of having involvement in

Shivani's murder and implicationg her husband.

But at the end of the day we all know who did this unscrupulous crime.
A guilty verdict against former IPS official in the murder case has strengthened the recent trend

of conviction in high-profile cases sending a clear message that the rich and influential can no

longer get away with crime. The fact that the accused was successful in evading his arrest for

more than three years after the murder shows his influence on the police. But at the end he was

found guilty.
For some time now we have seen many high profile cases involving many big names getting justice.
The trend was set when Manu Sharma was found guilty in Jessica Lal murder case. The Jessica case

acquittals shook the public conscience to the core. It brought into sharp focus a number of

issues ailing our legal system and people realized how easy it was for the rich and powerful to

get away with anything. The outpour of outrage was spontaneous. For the first time the nation

witnessed the middle class involving itself in the process of getting justice for an individual.
And then Priyadarshini Mattoo murder case was solved. Also we cant forget the "UPHAAR" tragedy

when relatives of the decieased also got justice when court found Ansal Brothers guilty of

negligence.

So what we can say that after so long since we have our judiciary system, the time has come when

how so be the big name, reputation or money you have, you cant get away just like that after doing

smething wrong. There is very clear message to the criminals "NOBODY CAN GO UNPUNISHED THESE DAYS"

LOVE......What is it actually???

LOVE

love...what actually is love????
when I tried to find the definition of love in dictionary...
what I got is "a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person"
Is that all love is???
this is one question that i ask myself hundreds of times....
Might be this is what love is but according to me its much more than just this...isnt it???

I can share some instances..what i feel is also love

"when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your french fries without making them give you any of theirs."
"when someone hurts you. And you get so mad but you don't yell at him because you know it would hurt his feelings."
"When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you're scared she won't love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only does she still love you, she loves you even more."
"when you can wait the whole day for two mins to talk to the person you love
"

Some people say that when u live then u tend to love...But what i feel is that when u love then only you can live...
A person who doesn't know how to love..how can he live..

When we talk about love the first relation that strikes our mind is that of a girl and a boy who are lovers....but is that the only form of love????
The most selfless form of love is the love of a mother for her children...She can sacrifice everything for her children,to see them happy to see them content..
From my childhood I have seen my mother sacrificing her sleep when we were sick, when we needed to get up early in morning to study..we have seen her sacrificing her likings for our pleasure..she has given us everything...and that too without even once saying that she did that for us...
And today people say that its their duty or FARZ to do that....But thats absurd...Its the love not FARZ..

When we talk about two people who met somewhere and as usually said "Fell In Love"...what exactly they speak about what is love...
Some would say that
"Love is a feeling of high emotional affiliation...which sends a person's ego to dizzying heights" OR "Love is the emotional feeling two people receive when they both have sexual and Platonic love in the proper proportions."

Some would describe it as
"Love is the end result of a mature union of two compatible personalities." OR
Love is helping the other person whenever he needs it...being his companion. It's having common goals, dreams, and ambitions." OR
"Love is doing things together and liking it."

And for Some it would be

"Love is giving--time, understanding, yourself." OR
"Love is to give of oneself to another."

But is this LOVE??
If we talk about emotional affiliation then how intense should it be to describe love...physical attraction or attraction...is this infatuation or is this LOVE?
If we talk about Compatibility then are two friends who are compatible..are lovers?
If LOVE is giving then wanting one's own happiness is wrong when you are in LOVE...isn't it? and if you are not happy is that LOVE then????

As I do believe in LOVE but these questions can intrigue anyone who is a normal human being like me.....
But at the end I just wanna say that whatever LOVE is....one should follow what he thinks about it......
LOVE thus I can say that truly cant be described in words and no dictionary can give the perfect definition for this word......
