Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kai baar jab akeli baithti hun to khud se puchti hun yeh zindagi hai kya????Ek pal mein hi yeh zindagi khushiyan deti aur dusre hi pal gam...Ek pal is ehsaas ki khushi ki koi tumse pyaar karta aur dusre hi pal use khone ka dar aankhon me aansu de deta hai....Ek pal tumhara koi dost tumhare paas hai aur dusre hi pal tumse door chala jaaye........Kya hai yeh zindagi?????
Kisi ke door jaane ke baad kya reh jaata hai...yaadein bas yaadein.....Yaadein un sunhare palon ki jo saath bitaye the, woh khatti meethi yaadein saath hasne ki, saath gaane ki, sukh dukh baantne ki...Kya chahta hai man un palon ko fir jeene ka unhi khushiyon ko saath jeene ka.....par yeh zindagi hai kya yehi to paheli hai!!!!
Yehi sochke lagta hai zindagi hai kya???Khushiyon ki ek meethi nadi ya fir gamon ka namkeen samundar....ya fir is samundar mein hai duvidha naam ka ek bhanwar bhi hai jis mein agar insaan ek baar dhas jaaye to bas us mein aur andar hi jaata rehta hai...Mujhe is zindagi ne kabhi hasaya hai to kabhi rulaya hai..kabhi sochne pe majboor kiya hai ki agar main ro rahi hun to kya yeh aansoo mujhe zindagi ke kuch haseen palon ko jeene se rok rahe hain..Shayad yeh kahin sahi hai to kahin galat hai....Kabhi rone ke baad lagta hai ki andar kitna kuch tha jo is dil ko jala raha tha jo nikal gaya..Kabhi yeh aansoon tumhare ya kisi aur ki aankh se tumhe yeh mehsoos kara dete hain ki dono ek dusre ke kitne kareeb hain..Par dukh bhi hota hai ki tumhare liye kisi ki aankh mein aansoo aa gaye hain...Yeh zindagi kyun aise raaston pe laati hai jahan tum kai humrahi banate ho aur wahi humrahi alag raah pakad lete hain aur raaste badal jaate hain...aur hum fir ek naya saath dhundne lagta hai.
Zindagi mein agar khushi agar kuch pareshani ya dukh ke baad mile to woh ek choti si khushi bhi zindagi bhar ki sabse badi khushi lagti hai..Lagta hai jaise ek jahan hi jeet liya ho,sab kuch apna sa lagne lagta hai,har lamha jeene ko man karta hai, naachne ko man karta hai, apni khushi apne kareebi logon se baantne ko karta hai..Sahi hi kaha jaata hai ki har raat ke baad subah hoti hai aur agar wahi subah amavas ki kaali raat ke baad aaye to suraj ki kirne aur sunhari lagti hain......Khushiyan humari zindagi mein bhar rakhi hain jarurat hai to bas unhe talashne ki, unhe mehsoos karne ki, unhe jeene ki..Agar hum dukh ki paribhasha hi badal dein to shayad dukh kabhi hoga hi nahin..
Zindagi na hi khushi hai na hi gam hai aur na hi duvidha hai..zindagi ek Sangarsh hai ek Chunauti hai..Har pal ko jeena, gam mein muskurana ek chunauti hai, khush hote hue kahin gam mein na doob jaana ek chunauti hai, har duvidha ko suljhana ek chunauti hai..Zindagi humein ishwar ke ek anmol tohfa hai, use kaatna nahi chahiye use jeena chahiye......
Zindagi insaan ko roz naye mod pe le jaati hai..Kabhi zindagi mein sab kuch nahi mil sakta..Waise agar sab kuch mil bhi jaaye to shayad zindagi ke maayne hi badal jayenge......Tabhi to kaha jaata hai..

Optimism....

OPTIMISM
Since the day I have started understanding life, the people around me, there are two words that I've heard almost every day in my life; OPTIMISM and PESSIMISM...."He is quite Optimistic" or "Oh My God he is so Pessimistic' are two sentences that are so casually used these days.See even I am using these two words without even explaining what these are actually.......Who is an OPTIMIST?????A person who sees positive in everything around him..Opposite to optimist is PESSIMIST....one who can only have negative approach towards life....
Since childhood I've seen one example that is used widely to make us understand these two words. If there is a glass of water in front of you that is half filled...there are two ways to see it. An Optimist will always see as half filled whereas a Pessimist will always see it as half empty...Similar can be applied in our life also...One will say that I've achieved something in my life and will achieve more and believe me he will do that also..whereas the other one will say that what I've achieved in so much time of my life and what the hell I'll achieve further......These are two different approaches to see your life and I don't think that I need to mention what is the perspective of an Optimist and what is that of Pessimist....
I have always believed that one who is optimistic knows how to live life and how to enjoy every moment and thus have beautiful memories of past and a colourful vision of future..whereas for the other one, he knows not muc of happiness as he was always successful in finding faults in everything & visualising dark and blurred future....
I can't say that an optimist has never thought negatively in his life..We all are humans, we have tendency to get shaken by challenges and obstacles in life..but why not try to find something good in that bad phase of life..Might be its making us strong to face bigger problems in future..This is the vision of an Optimist....This is the strength of Optimism..
We all get influenced by the movies and books very easily..This is what happened with me also..Once I've seen a movie that has left a huge impression on my mind..The movie was "Life is Beautiful". The name itself suggests the motive behind making that movie...See it and understand life is beautiful....enjoy its beauty..The movie is based on the life of a young 'Jew" man who because of his positive approach was able to save his son from the gruelling concentration camp..He along with his wife and 5 yrs old son was send to a concentration camp..The man instils in his child the courage to survive in the concentration camp..He always tells his child that its a game in which the winner will win a ride in a real war tank...Throughout the time spend in the concentration camp not even once a sign of tension seen on the face of the man because he wanted his son to live happily and by being an optimist in fighting in life..In the end the man dies but he is able to save his child and in the end the child rides on an american tank and he believed what is father has told him...The man never broke and he never let his child broke down by just instilling optimism in his child..and this was the optimism of the man that won in saving his child from the mental pressure of staying in a concentration camp...
This is the power of Optimism......It can create wonders..It can make impossible possible.....As we know even the word itself says I M POSSIBLE....This is the power of optimism of making everything possible......So just be Positive in Life and enjoy it to its Fullest........

Woman and Career

We are living in 21st century now....but how many of us realise this??
Many people say these days that whats the difference between a boy and a girl....a man and a woman........But majority of those who says these things don't even believe it...They say these just to show that they are moving ahead with time.....and mind it its not the people of older generation i am talking about, its quite common in the people of our generation also....

Since my childhood I have found people around me saying that learn or study how much ever you want but at the end of the day you have to make round chappatis only as your mother does..In childhood as all other children I used to hear it and forget it as soon as I was with my friends or my books..It never meant anything for me...But as I reached my adolocence and then hearing these things made a mark on my mind...
Luckily for me my parents never said this to me..My dad always wanted me to do something in my life, he wanted me to be independent. Same was the case with my mother, she wanted the same as my dad, or probably more than him. She always used to say that she has not utilised her education by just sitting at home as a homemaker, the refined version of the word HouseWife..I can never say that being a housewife she hasn't done anything in her life..She is the stepping stone for the success of our family in whatever field it might be, but she might also had some dreams which were not fulfilled..She always wanted to become a lawyer but was not allowed by her family to go to another city for education..Then she thought of becoming a teacher but her father didn't allowed her and after her marriage my father didn't liked the idea much as his was a joint family and he just was not able to take such decisions on his own..I think this is one reason that both of them encouraged me to have a good career...my mother as she wanted me to fulfill my dreasm and my father as he has seen my mother with her dreams unfulfilled..
But how many girls in India get such opportunities even now, in 2008...
Even if we get opportunities to have a career of our own the obstacles and challenges are enough to shake us.....

What happens when a girl in India is about to turn 23-24 years old, the first thing everyone will ask is that when are you getting married???The reply comes once I have a job and a career settled and the reaction is why so???If the girl fights and gets a job, as soon as she gets it again the same question....why does never one asks a boy once he gets a job when will he marry???? People say yoy have got a job, now get settled properly for 2-3 years atleast and then start thinking about marriage.........Why does this happen????
Answer is simple because still our society has not yet accepted that there is no difference between a boy and a girl...Still the bread earner for the family is just considered to be the man and the woman's earning is still least important...Why does everyone think that a job or a career is just for earning money and not for passion or for the fulfillment of the dreams....
When the girl is married why is she only expected to think about the family, house, food and children....Aren't these also the responsibility of the man???They are told that do your job but it should not distrupt the daily chore of household, why the man never told this???He has the privilege to think about his career and how to grow it then why not the woman has same privileges???How many men can accept the success of their spouse, especially iof they are in same profession??

This is not only what a woman faces..this was just the personal aspect of her life, there are challenges for her in her career also.I am not talking about the challenges in her work, but the problems she faces for being a woman. How many men in our society are comfortable working under a woman boss???How many men can accept the success of their feamle colleagues whole- heartedly??

These are just few of the hundreds questions that come in my mind.....and answers to these I am still searching....
Life is not easy for a woman where she is only expected to maintain a balance between her career and her family..even if she has to sacrifice her dreams, even if she had to make hundreds of compromises and adjustments....its only her DUTY.............

I just hope one day will come when things will be different.......
