16th May,Friday when hundreds of us must be enjoying our step towards another weekend a murder took place, well must say twin murders took place in a house in Noida. Arushi Talwar a 14 year old girl was murdered in her own bedroom in her house. It was said that her parents were sleeping in the next room when she was killed. Her parents saw her body the next morning and reported it to police. The police came in saw the body, asked ome questions, found the servant, Hemraj, missing and the verdict its a clear case of murder by the servant..The height of their this belief was that they even announced the reward money of 20,000 for the one who gave the information about Hemraj. They did all this without even any further investigations.
The next day a neighbour of the Talwar family, a retired cop came to pay his condolences to the family when he saw the blood stains on the stairs that were heading towards the terrace. He out of curiosity went upstairs but the door of the terrace was locked and surprisingly no one had the keys for it.......Surprising isn't it??? Even the owner of the house doesn't have keys for the door...Finally the door was broken down and what found there was not surprising but actually it was shocking...There was found the decomposing body of Hemraj...The main suspect of Arushi's murder was found murdered on the terrace of the same house..
Well what a small mistake the Noida Police committed.........Actually its a blunder because what followed were the mistakes....
The mattress and the blood soaked bedsheet on which arsuhi was killed were found lying on the terrace of the house..instead of taking it in possession and taking it away for forensic examination it was left there for a day to get exposed to the elements..Next day they just cut a small piece of the mattress and took it with them...who stopped them to tak ethe whole thing with them???
Just few assumptions as such murders are generally committed by the domestic helpers in NCR, but just with this assumption they made a person criminal who was killed at the same time as was Arushi..Is the crime that took place was a non serious one, a small girl who had all her life to live was murdered..And the police just took things so lightly..The police also seem to be desensitised by the daily chronicles of crime in the national capital region to bother too much about how and when they solve any particular case..
Well this was one ugly part of the story, what followed was even uglier..Now when came the name of the suspect of the twin murders even the word shocking became underrated..Arushi's father was the suspect of the twin murders that took place on 16th of May.
The murders took place with a surgical knife..Its believed that Dr.Rajesh Talwar, father of Arushi was having an extra marital affair with his colleague Dr.Anita Durrani. Arushi came to knew about it and she was not happy about it.She had an argument with her father and was killed by him. Hemraj was the one who was blackmailing Dr.Talwar and he was also killed. If this was the case then how Arushi's mother didn't knew about the murdrs held at her house, was somewhere she was also involved???
Police is also investigating the theory of wife swapping in this case with Talwar;s and Durrani's involved..Even the chances of Honour Killing are also not ruled out..
Whatever the reason behind it, if a father has killed his own daughter then where are society is heading to?A father killing his own daughter to hide his illicit realtionship or for maintaining his family's honour is just unreasonable..Arushi Talwar was killed in cold blood by none other than her own father. No matter what the arguments are on the motive behind the crime the act of murder itself remains as irredeemable as ever....
