When we were kids we used to study in our that time colorful books that INDIA is a country that is united despite being so diverse in cultures, languages, religions...
The constitution of INDIA has given its people fundamental rights.Right to Speech,Right to
Movement etc..But are all these things just written in books?? Or are they really true.........
Seeing what all has happened in Maharashtra in past one month just shows that what was taught to us in our childhood is not entirely true...

If INDIA is one united country, if Indian constitution gives right of movement to its citizens,
then why people of different states of INDIA residing in MAHARASHTRA are beaten up..why are they thrashed, why are they abused????
Can some one give answers to these questions???

Last one month people of UP, Bihar, Haryana, Punjab staying in Maharashtra are going through a lot of problems.They are abused and they are beaten up...Slogans are shouted by the local people of the state to warn them to leave so called "THEIR STATE...THEIR LAND".
Today from the very small jobs to big corporate jobs in Mumbai are done by Non-Maharashtrains.From the taxi wallah,riksha wallah,chai wallah,peon,bai to the Software engineers, MBA's to the Film Stars the majority one will find is of Non-Marathis..Once these people are thrown out of Mumbai, how will the city work??

Raj Thakrey started all this by saying that Amitabh Bachhan despite of staying in Mumbai do
everything for his home state UP.....
Wasn't this ridiculous???
Well lets not get into the politics of involving huge names like Amitabh Bachhan in this
debate..What he has done for UP or Maharashtra is his own personal liking or his belief..
What he has done for UP like building up schools or hospitals can be either of helping his close
friend Amar Singh or really his love for his birth place..

Dont we encourage NRI's to come back and help INDIA i one or the other way..If that is right then how dong something for one's birth place is wrong?
Why do we celeberate Pravasi Bhartiya Divas every year???
Pravasi Bharatiya Divas aims at bringing the expertise and knowledge of the Indian overseas
community to India and integrating it into India's development process.
Then why dont we say that Indians staying in US or UK or any other foreign place should not do
anything for INDIA..they should devote their whole life and everything to the country where they are staying now..
If this would have been the situation then today people like Amartya Sen,Kalpana Chawla,Salman Rushdie,Deepa Mehta,Lakshmi Mittal should have also forgotten their own land, their INDIA and give the country of their residence whole importance.....

Raj Thakrey, a political leader who is young.He was born in a liberal country and has seen very
little prejudice, especially in the city where he was raised. He was educated with people like
us, in schools like ours with people of different religions and regions.I used to think that
today our country need leaders who are young, who know how INDIA can compete with foreign
countries,who can be the front runners for the development of our country in every aspect.
But thanks to Raj Thakrey for opening our eyes that whether young or old politicians will be
politicians..they will never change......

There is one more thing that our politicians and leaders should not forget that Bhagat singh
fought for India's independence not for Punjab's Independence.Same goes for all our freedom
fighters who laid down their lives for the independence of our country but not for the
independence of their individual states...
